About this tool
HEIC to JPG is a browser-only image converter. Your photos never leave your device, and converting them needs no account, no installation and no payment.
What it does
It converts .heic / .heif photos taken on an iPhone or another Apple device into universal .jpg, in batches. You can adjust the JPG quality, pick an output size (longest edge 2048 / 1920 / 1280 / 800 px, or a percentage), and photos are rotated upright automatically using their EXIF orientation data.
Who runs it
This site is independently run and maintained by xunidd.com. There is no advertiser, no investor and no plan to monetise user data. The reason it exists is simple: people who move from an iPhone to Windows or Android often cannot open their own photos, and most online converters ask you to upload them first.

How it works under the hood
Everything happens inside your browser: HEIC decoding uses the WebAssembly build of libheif, and JPG encoding uses the browser built-in Canvas API. There is no backend and no endpoint, and nothing anywhere receives your files, which is also why it keeps working with no network connection.
